Cheap hotels on summer nights
The ripples in the moonlight
I’m in the airport just trying to find my way
All the sights and all the signs
They crossed over a line
A weapon drawn on a cool Monday
And it’s all right
To feel alone
It’s all right
In a city you don’t know
It’s all right
To feel alone
Does it mean that you won’t go
City signs no one sees
Empty bottles in the frozen street
Old habits I outgrew
Those old pictures that we’d keep
Hidden well behind the backseat
Show someone who looks a lot like you used to
And it’s all right
To feel alone
Querétaro
I can feel you in the air in Mexico
And it’s all right
To feel alone
Does it mean that you won’t go
I’m on the outside looking in
At this life I could have lived
With someone I used to know
And it’s all right
To feel alone
It’s all right
In a city you don’t know
It’s all right
To feel alone
Does it mean that you won’t go

So do I pretend to know what she’s going through
So do I pretend to understand what she’s into
So do I ask her what she wants, do I want it, too
Got lost somewhere and I won’t get through this
Lost somewhere and I won’t get through this
Lost somewhere and I won’t get through this
So when she tells me I’m no good, do I make her wait
So after all this time we’re still staying up too late
So won’t she tell me what, tell me what to do to be saved
Got lost somewhere and I won’t get through this
Lost somewhere and I won’t get through this
Lost somewhere and I won’t get through this
Oh, won’t she help me out, cause I won’t get through this
Oh, won’t she come get down, cause I won’t get through this
Oh, won’t she let me go, cause I won’t get through this
I’m still waiting on her call
My back’s still pressed against her walls
Get me a ticket, get it for free
Take me back, take me to Sydney

Little lies you say
Little lies make everything ok
Ok
Little lies you spread
Little lies held over my head
My head
Ooh (2x)
Waterfalls
Of little lies you told me off the cuff
Never letting one get back to her
Is it ever enough
Penniless and cold
Penniless with your fucked up ghost in tow
In tow
But it’s more than smoke and mirrors
There’s more than ghosts outside your door I’m sure
I’m sure
Ooh (2x)
Waterfalls
Of little lies you told me off the cuff
Never letting one get back to her
Is it ever enough
Silhouettes
The pretty faces you just can’t forget
A picture frame and some cigarettes
Are all that is left
(Bridge)
Waterfalls
Of little lies you told me off the cuff
Never letting one get back to her
Is it ever enough
Silhouettes
The pretty faces you just can’t forget
A picture frame and some cigarettes
Are all that is left

Where do I stand
Where do I stand in this room
When I talk to you
There’s paint on my hands
The sinks don’t work and my chest expands
What do I do
When I see you
So where do I stand
My head explodes into the fan
What do I do
When I see you
So where do I go
When the lights go out and there’s no telephone
How do I know
When the day glows you’ll be back at home if you don’t call
You won’t call
You won’t call
You won’t call
I can’t forget you after all
Pixie queen
With your hold over me
Pixie queen
You leather jacket fiend
I can’t make you, but I can hate you
Just tell me what to do
You don’t know me, I’m more than I seem
I don’t know what it means to you
There’s so much more to us than meets the eye, than you realize
We can’t see, we can’t see ourselves through your eyes
Oh god, we’ve tried
Pixie queen
I’m still talking to your ceiling
Pixie queen
Interrupting your television dreams
Confuse me, don’t move me, use me, don’t lose me
I’m not just some girl in the street
There’s so much more to us than meets the eye, than you realize
We can’t see, we can’t see ourselves through your eyes
Oh god, we’ve tried
Pixie queen, pixie queen, leather jacket fiend, with your hold on me
Pixie queen, pixie queen, you and your television dreams
