lyrics

Cheap hotels on summer nights
The ripples in the moonlight
I’m in the airport just trying to find my way
All the sights and all the signs
They crossed over a line
A weapon drawn on a cool Monday

And it’s all right
To feel alone
It’s all right
In a city you don’t know
It’s all right
To feel alone
Does it mean that you won’t go

City signs no one sees
Empty bottles in the frozen street
Old habits I outgrew
Those old pictures that we’d keep
Hidden well behind the backseat
Show someone who looks a lot like you used to

And it’s all right
To feel alone
Querétaro
I can feel you in the air in Mexico
And it’s all right
To feel alone
Does it mean that you won’t go

I’m on the outside looking in
At this life I could have lived
With someone I used to know

And it’s all right
To feel alone
It’s all right
In a city you don’t know
It’s all right
To feel alone
Does it mean that you won’t go
